MELAcontrol Bowie & Dick Test ist ein Prüfsystem nach EN ISO 11140-4 (inkl. Typ 2 Indikator) zur routinemäßigen Kontrolle der Dampfdurchdringung Ihres Autoklaven. Das praktische Testpaket simuliert ein mehrere Kilogramm schweres Wäschepaket, das im Autoklaven mit fraktioniertem Vorvakuum sterilisiert wird. Der erfolgreiche Farbumschlag des Indikators im Prüfpaket erfolgt bei 134 °C nach 3,5 min. 20 Prüfpakete sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Die Handhabung des MELAcontrol Bowie & Dick Tests ist denkbar einfach: Legen Sie das Testpaket an die gewünschte Stelle in der Beladung. Führen Sie das Sterilisationsprogramm durch und kontrollieren Sie anschließend das Ergebnis. Bei ausreichender Dampfdurchdringung verfärbt sich der Indikator von gelb zu schwarz.
